Third-grade students from Weisenberg Elementary School recently visited the Weisenberg Township Volunteer Fire Company .

Firefighter Randy Zack spoke to the students about fire safety in their homes.

After watching a video showing how quickly a fire can spread, Zack asked the youngsters to draw a picture of their homes.

He asked them to draw two different exit routes from their homes in case of fire and to pick a meeting place once they have escaped the fire.

"Get out and stay out," Zack told the youngsters.
