The Frederick J. Jaindl Scholarship will be given to a student enrolled in agriculture in a two- or four-year institution of higher learning.
This $2,000 scholarship will be awarded on Aug. 28 at the Ag Awards program in the Agri-Plex building during the 2013 Great Allentown Fair.
To apply for the scholarship, you must have exhibited a competitive entry at the Allentown Fair for at least one year.

The Allentown Music Club is offering a $1,000 Past President's Assembly scholarship to a high school senior who resides in Lehigh or Northampton counties.

Mikayla's Voice Tri for Inclusion is having a triathlon 8:30 a.m. June 29 for children and young adults of all abilities ages 7-18 at at Parkland High School, 2700 N. Cedar Crest Blvd., South Whitehall Township.
The triathlon includes a 100 yard swim, 3-mile bike ride and a .625 mile run.
