Association for Animal Protection will be having Chinese and silent auctions noon-3 p.m. Oct. 27 at Cetronia Fire Company, 18 S. Scenic St., Allentown. Walkers needed Oct. 14

Congregation Keneseth Israel Social Action Committee is looking for walkers to join Rabbi Seth's Keneseth Israel Cares Team at 1 p.m. Oct. 14 for the Allentown Crop Walk at Saint Timothy's Lutheran Church, corner Ott and Walnut streets, Allentown.

There will be two walks, a one mile and six mile.

Registration begins at 12:30 p.m. with the walks starting at 1:30 p.m.

Union Lutheran Church will be holding a dinner buffet and show "Judge Judy: The Final Verdict," a White Rose Production Nov. 3 at 5500 Route 873, Schnecksville.

Dinner will be at 6:30 p.m., show will be at 7:30 p.m.

There is a cost for the dinner and show for adults and children.

The buffet will be cooked and served by the Fellowship Committee.

Lehigh Gap Nature Center will be holding the following speaker series at the Osprey House.

·Oct. 11: Brandon Ruhe, president of the Mid-Atlantic Center for Herpetology and Conservation will discuss "Helping the Herps" at 7:30 p.m.

·Oct. 28: Jim Rowland, a semi-retired structural engineering consultant who has trekked major trails throughout the world will talk about his experience on the Appalachian National Scenic Trail with special emphasis on the Pa section at 3 p.m.

Drive-thru inoculations

Lehigh Valley Health Network will administer free seasonal flu vaccinations for adults and children 6 months and older during two sessions in November.

Shots will be given drive-thru 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Nov. 3 at Dorney Park, South Whitehall, and 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Nov. 4 at Coca-Cola Park, Allentown.

Optional donations of non-perishable food items that have not expired will be accepted.

Craft show on Nov. 3, 4

Lehigh Valley Chapter of the Pennsylvania Guild of Craftsmen will be having its 27th annual Holiday Marketplace Fine Art and Craft show 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Nov. 3 and 11 a.m.-5 p.m. Nov. 4 at Swain School, Salisbury Township.

The show will feature more than 40 local artisans associated with the LVPGC along with selected others, each offering handmade high quality art and fine crafts made within the greater Lehigh Valley area.

Artisans will be on hand to discuss their work as they offer jewelry, pottery, woodcraft, photography and a variety of art for sale.
