A special meeting was called Sept. 5 by Lynn supervisors to review the zoning and subdivision and land development ordinances, which are being codified, and to make needed changes and corrections .
Industrial performance standards have to be updated. Township Manager Kevin Deppe told the board he never used the noise section of the ordinance. A baseline measurement is necessary and the township does not have the equipment to measure decibels.
Supervisor Brian Dietrich said the issue could wait until it becomes an issue.

Lowhill Supervisors began their Sept. 6 meeting with a moment of silence and prayers for the family of former administrator and zoning officer, Reynold Reinert, who died last month.
"It will be hard to envision meetings without him at the table," Township Solicitor Charles Waters said, adding the township lost a good friend.
Later in the meeting, the board appointed Keystone Consulting Engineers as interim zoning officer, represented by Roy Stewart.
John J. Demjanick, 54, of Barnesville, remains in critical condition nine days following a two-vehicle crash in Lynn Township.
State Police Troop M, Fogelsville, say Demjanick, driving a 2000 Chevrolet SUV, was attempting to negotiate a left curve in Route 309, just north of the Route 143 intersection in New Tripoli, around 6:34 a.m. Sept. 4.
The crash occurred as a 2008 Ford Ranger, driven by Manuel G. Rocha, 52, of Allentown, northbound on Route 309 began to spin in a clockwise direction.

Kyle Rex and Benjamin Gangaware, of Boy Scout Troop 261, Breinigsville, were recently inducted into an elite group of young men.
The two joined the ranks of Eagle Scouts Sam Walton, James Lovell, Hank Aaron and President Gerald R. Ford, among other notables.
Rex and Gangaware, who became friends in first grade, have spent the last 12 years in Scouting encouraging each other when needed.
They celebrated their accomplishments during their Eagle Court at Ziegels Union Church, Breinigsville.
