The Circle of Seasons Charter School application was expected to be on the Northwestern Lehigh School agenda for Aug. 15.
School directors were invited to give their opinions on the proposed charter school at the board's Aug. 8 meeting.
Director Todd Hernandez said he did not see support in the community for the school and the curriculum does not meet Northwestern standards.
Board member Greg Sanders said the timeline the charter school is proposing is a problem because transportation would have to be provided beyond the NWL school year.
The Northwestern Lehigh School Board recently held a public hearing to hear a proposal for a new charter school.
Circle of Seasons was originally proposed for a site on Cedar Crest Boulevard in the Parkland School District.
The proposal was denied by that board. Since that time, another tentative site was put forward, possibly the old Penn State complex in Fogelsville.
Solicitor Kristine Roddick, outlined the hearing format for all those present.

Lehigh Carbon Community College reopened its Schnecksville campus at its regular scheduled time Wednesday morning after a bomb threat forced the school's evacuation.
