The Jeremiah and Stacey Jones family of Lynn Township has set up an account to accept donations toward a reward fund for the person or persons who bring forward information leading to the prosecution and conviction of the individual who shot and killed their dogs Jeb and Dude.
Their bodies were found Aug. 31 by a state trooper from Troop L, Hamburg, along Pine Creek Road, Kempton, near the Kempton Rod and Gun Club.
The donation money will be held for three years. After that, the money will be donated to local shelters and/or rescue programs.

The daughter of Lisa and Richard Remaly of Germansville, Emily, 16, heard about the program via an announcement at her school last spring.
She asked her parents if she could apply.

The Slatedale-Emerald Lions Club wants to become better known in the community. It is looking for service projects in the Washington-Heidelberg communities, Club President Jen Lynch said. The club was also generous, lending its food trailer to the Mountainville Lions Club for a fundraiser at the Allentown Fairgrounds.
