The Early Learning Center (ELC) on the Schnecksville, North Whitehall Township, campus of Lehigh Carbon Community College (LCCC), invites preschool children ages 3-5 along with a family member to spend an hour exploring the Reggio-inspired center and the numerous activities available.

Open houses for families are 2-3 p.m. June 28 and July 26. The session ends with “Mindful” exercises designed to create self-awareness in young children.

The seventh annual “Summer Salon,” 6:30 p.m. July 21, at the Hermann J. Wiemer Vineyard, Dundee, N.Y., in the Finger Lakes region of upstate New York, is a benefit for The Bach Choir of Bethlehem.

“Bach Masquerade: A Night of Music and Mystery,” offer repertoire that includes “Stars,” by Eriks Esenvalds, with a poem by Sara Teasdale, arranged for choir and tuned glasses; Morten Lauridsen’s “Sure On This Shining Night,” and selections from Bach and Haydn.

Q. I was racing down the cellar stairs a few days ago when I slipped and fell on my tailbone. I’ve had pain ever since. What should I do about it?

The Great Allentown Fair’s Premium List booklet detailing the procedures and categories for entering the Fair’s blue-ribbon competitions are now available at the Allentown Fairgrounds main office. PDF versions are available to download at: allentownfairpa.org.
