Christ's Church at Lowhill Food Pantry is looking for volunteers for August.

The food pantry needs volunteers on distribution days or food donations to help your neighbors.

Morgenland Church's picnic will take place from 4-9 p.m. Aug. 10, in the picnic grove, Leather Corner Post, Orefield.

Everyone is invited to enjoy the fun, fellowship, good food, homemade desserts, cakewalks and basket raffle.

Country Rhythm Band will be the entertainment for the evening.

Public is invited! Pennsylvania State Grange is having a Grange Family Festival July 19-23 at Centre County Grange Fairgrounds, Center Hall (near State College).

You do not have to be a grange member to attend.

Sign up for all the days of camping or pick only the days you want.

If you don't have a camper, army tents will be on hand to rent.

Bring your own food or sign up for the meals prepared there.

Weisenberg Lutheran Church, 7645 Weisenberg Church Road, New Tripoli, will host Vacation Bible School for children ages 4 through sixth grade 6-8:30 p.m. July 29 through Aug. 2.

"Kingdom Rock" is the theme for this year, and the children will be treated like royalty.

"Chadder the Chipmunk" will be part of the video Bible Study, along with games, crafts, storytelling and much more.

The Christ's Church at Lowhill Food Pantry needs volunteers.

Even though many of us have planned vacations and family events, we still have neighbors who need to eat and will benefit from the services of the food pantry.

Mark your calendar! On July 7, Heidelberg Union Church, 5187 Irvin Road, Heidelberg Township, in conjunction with the Miller-Keystone Blood Bank, is having a blood drive 9 a.m.-1 p.m. in fellowship hall.

To give the gift of blood, call the church office at 610-767-4740 to set up an appointment or just stop by.

Also during this time, Heidelberg Union Church will celebrate Holy Communion at the 10:15 a.m. worship service.
