UPPER MACUNGIE: New Year’s Eve fun for kids

Upper Macungie Township will host a Kids Noon Year’s Eve 10:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. on Dec. 30 at Good Will Volunteer Fire Company, 7723 Hamilton Blvd., Trexlertown.

This free event will have something fun to do for the entire family.

There will be a balloon drop at noon, Dazzling Doodles face painting, games, giveaways and DJ JJ Sands.

Light refreshments will be available for purchase.

NORTH WHITEHALL TOWNSHIP: Schneck House featuring cookies and clear toys

The Upper Lehigh Historical Society will sell homemade Christmas cookies and clear toy candy at the Schneck House 1-4 p.m. Dec. 16,

Everyone is invited to visit the historic Schneck log house along Route 873 across from McDonald’s in Schnecksville and purchase the special holiday treats.

Bingo has resumed Monday nights in the Schnecksville Fire Company.

Doors open 5:30 p.m. Early bird bingo begins 6 p.m. Regular games start at 6:45 p.m. The kitchen will be open.

HEIDELBERG TOWNSHIP: Heidelberg Union Church members to go a-caroling

Melody makers! The public is invited to attend the Heidelberg Handbell Christmas Concert 3 p.m. Dec. 16 at the Union Lutheran Church, 5500 Route 873, Schnecksville.

In addition to Christmas hymn favorites and contemporary selections for the season, there will be congregational sing-along and inspirational readings.

LYNN TOWNSHIP: Santa Claus is coming to town

New Tripoli volunteer firefighters will be aiding Santa Dec. 22 as he makes his annual run through the community.

Santa will be at the fire station at noon to visit with youngsters. He will take off from the fire station atop a firetruck starting around 1 p.m.

To have Santa deliver a personal gift to a child, deliver it to the fire station by Dec. 17. Firefighters will be there 6:30-8:30 p.m. Monday.

Make sure the child’s name and address are on the gift.
