Work includes installation of stormwater piping, sidewalk and asphalt pathway. PUBLIC NOTICE INVITATION TO BID Notice is hereby given that Coplay Borough will receive sealed bids online via the PennBid Program (www.PennBid.net) until 4:00 P.M., prevailing time on June 5, 2018 for the Coplay Alley Rehabilitation Project consisting of inlet structure replacement, stormwater piping, bituminous pavement restoration, and other improvements. All Bidding Documents will be available online at no cost at www.PennBid.net beginning at noon on May 17, 2018. An abstract of the Bids will be available to Bidders on PennBid at the date and time that bids are due, as indicated above. PUBLIC NOTICE THE CATASAUQUA AREA SCHOOL DISTRICT will receive sealed bids in the District Administration Office, 201 North 14th Street, Catasauqua, PA 18032 until 1:30 PM (prevailing time), Thursday, June 7, 2018 for up to one (1) new conventional style CE Model diesel school bus (or approved equal). The bus may be either 72 or 77/78 passenger vehicles and may be 2019 or 2020 model year vehicles. The school district reserves the right to acquire, one vehicle, or no vehicles. The school district is seeking delivery on or before October 16, 2018 a price for each of the following (1) purchase price for an immediate purchase; and (2) total payments under a sixty-month lease. A lease must provide an option for the school district to purchase the vehicle at the end of the lease for $1.00. The terms and conditions of any proposed lease must be pre-approved by the school district by June 7, 2018. Bidders who intend to submit bids for lease financing should submit proposed lease documents for review by the school district by June 7, 2018. Bids will be publicly opened at the District Administration Office and read aloud immediately following the deadline for receipt. Prospective bidders may review and obtain bidding documents (including specifications) at the District Administration Office at the above address, or by calling 610-264-5571, extension #0. Bids must be submitted on regular forms provided by the school district and shall be sealed in an envelope identified with the bidder's name and marked "BID FOR SCHOOL VEHICLE". Prospective bidders shall furnish their name, name of representative, mailing address, email address, telephone number, and facsimile number at the time they obtain bidding documents. Bidders' proposals must be accompanied by proposal security in the form of either a certified check, certified bank treasurer's check, bank cashier's check, or a bid bond with satisfactory corporate surety n the form provided in the bidding documents. The amount of the proposal security shall be equal to 10% of the total amount the school district would pay the bidder (in purchase price or total lease payments) for one bus, assuming the school district awarded a contract to the bidder for that option bid by the bidder (i.e., size, delivery date, model year, and financing option) which results in the highest total payments.
