Children's Dyslexia Center of Allentown is having a book fair 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. April 20, at Barnes and Noble at The Promenade Shops, Center Valley.
Events include book signings by Author Eli Kowalski, appearance by Kushka, the real-life dog from the book "Kushka, the Dog Named Cat," musical performance by Ryan Leaver 1- 2 p.m.; special story times; crafts; face painting; and a store scavenger hunt.

Lehigh Carbon Community College, 4500 Education Park Drive, Schnecksville, is offering "Running for Life" for youngsters ages 8-12 from 4:30-5:30 p.m. April 10 through May 29 at LCCC's main campus.
Students will learn good nutrition and track their exercise and healthy snacking in a journal.
Kids are asked to wear comfortable clothes, sneakers, and to bring a water bottle.
There is a materials fee for the journal, along with a course fee.

Joseph Lundeen, a 2011 Parkland graduate, achieved dean's list for the fall semester at Bucknell University where he is in his sophomore year studying physics.
He is the son of Edward and Christine Lundeen of South Whitehall Township.
A student must have a grade point average of 3.75 or higher to be on the dean's list, and this is his third consecutive semester to achieve this status.
