Alfred F. Bauer, 75, of Catasauqua, died Jan. 7, 2013, Lehigh Valley Hospital, Muhlenberg Campus.
He was the widower of Sarah J. (Reish) Bauer.
Born in Ormrod, he was a son of the late Aloise J. and Marie (Summers) Bauer.
He was a driver for Mail-Mathews Trucking in Glasgow for nine years before retiring in 2002.
He also drove truck for Yencho Trucking in Cunningham, was a mechanic for Loomis Armored Cars and was a race car driver at Dorney Park for many years.
He was a member of St. Mary's Church of the Annunciation Blessed Virgin Mary.

Patricia Ann Sexton, 88, a resident of Whitehall Manor, formerly of Hanover Township, Lehigh County, died Jan. 6, 2013, in Whitehall Manor.
She was the wife of the late Burton Henry Sexton.
Born in Cleveland, Ohio, she was the first child of Richmond Van and Sarah Jane (Stewart) Spencer.
She graduated from the former Allentown High School with the class of 1942.

The night will begin with a Children's DJ Dance party featuring "Woody Dee's."

Gerald-ine Kranch Moyer Wenner, 82, of Luther Crest, South Whitehall, died Jan. 10, 2013, in Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township.
She and her husband Ezra A. Wenner Jr. married in 2004.
She was married to Robert H. Moyer from 1993 to 2000 and Arnold P. Kranch from 1949 to 1978.
Born in Kutztown, she was a daughter of the late Royce G. Zimmerman Sr. and Marion M. (Schrader) Zimmerman.
A 1948 graduate of Allentown High School, she served on the Class of 1948 Reunion Committee.

Grundsau Lodge 16 Am Jahden will be having its sixth annual gathering at Wehr's Dam, Orefield, at 7 a.m. on Feb. 2.
They will watch for the groundhog (Yahdee) to arrive by coming down the Jordan Creek on a raft.
Following Yahdee's arrival, they will sing Pa. Dutch songs, pledge to the flag (in dialect), then anxiously await to hear what Yahdee says about the coming of spring.
Everyone is invited to come by and enjoy this annual event.
