The winning run scored in the bottom of the ninth when Isaac Fatzinger lifted a fly ball to center field to score John Taylor from third with the winning run. Taylor led off the inning with a base-hit, stole second and then moved to third on a wild pitch by Evan McAndrew.

Anthony Stolarz continues to impress in goal for the Lehigh Valley Phantoms. With his team fighting for their postseason lives, Stolarz made a franchise record 51 saves and then turned in a perfect performance in a shootout as Lehigh Valley downed Syracuse 3-2.
Stolarz’ night bested a performance by Carsen Chubak, who recorded 50 saves on April 6, 2014 against Albany when the team played in Adirondack, New York.

Richardson played a key role in turning around the football program that earned an Eastern Conference title in the 2013 season and a district championship this past season.
In track, Richardson collected two medals in this year's district events, finishing fourth in the 100-meter and second in the 200.
Northern Valley made a nice run in the Lehigh Valley Legion playoffs, but ultimately, the Chargers' season ended short of where they wanted to be. On Sunday, in the first game of two potential games that they would have had to play that day, Northern Valley was blanked by South Parkland, 7-0, ending their season.
