Snow is simply beautiful, as it comes tumbling down.

It silences the world outside, and spreads itself around.

Building snowmen was such fun. It was a joy to me.

Sometimes we’d build a lot of them, maybe two or three.

Another thing we used to do,

We made snow angels, that was fun too!

When I was young, I couldn’t wait, to go outside to play.

But, now that I am older, I simply stay away.

We used to build snow forts; snow balls were fun, indeed.

Now we stay inside our home; the warnings we do heed.

You look outside your window; it’s pure and simply grand.

The sight you see is awesome, it’s a winter wonderland.

The trees stand tall, all snowy white. The roads you cannot see.

The beauty of this wondrous sight is magnificent to me.

So, when you hear, “it’s going to snow,” don’t panic in distress.

Just look at it as God’s display of his lovely winter dress.
