Great turnout for Weisenberg Elementary’s first trunk or treat

The parking lot of Weisenberg Elementary School was transformed into a Halloween party for its ever first trunk or treat.

The event was well attended.

“For a first, it was an amazing event,” said Weisenberg PTO President Mel Martin. “We had an incredible turnout!”

Cars were parked and decorated in themes as the children went from car-to-car instead of from door-to-door to collect candy.

“Everyone stayed until after dark,” Martin said. “The kids really had fun.”
