Brock Andrew Rabenold of Kutztown and Angela Marie Turczyn of Breinigsville, recently graduated from Albright College, Reading.

Rabenold, a graduate of Kutztown Area High School, earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in digital studio art.

Turczyn, a graduate of Emmaus High School, earned a Bachelor of Science degree in mathematics and secondary education, cum laude.

Jane Golden, founder and executive director of Mural Arts Philadelphia offered a commencement address after being awarded an honorary degree of humane letters.

Turczyn took to the stage to ask her classmates to close their eyes and consider whom they thank most for helping them to make it to graduation day.

“Not too long ago, when I would close my eyes, I would picture my mother,” she said. “She has inspired me to provide unconditional support and strength to not only my future children, but also my future students.

“Now, however, when I close my eyes and picture who I thank for my being here today, I finally see myself. Albright has helped me reach further than I thought possible, and I will forever be grateful.”
