Kindergarten registration for children in the Northwestern Lehigh School District who will be 5 on or before Sept. 1 will take place in the Northwestern Elementary gym March 12 and 13.

To register, bring the child’s original state birth certificate (with the raised seal), two proofs of residency as listed on the residency form, proof of immunization, custody information if applicable, the child and the kindergarten enrollment packet from the district’s website.
Book Trade begins the week of Feb. 25.
Students will visit the trade and chose books to replace books they donated.
Fifth-grade visits will take place Feb. 25, fourth grade on Feb. 26, third grade on Feb. 27, second grade Feb. 28 and first grade on March 1.
The art room is looking for art materials no longer wanted at home.
Needed are buttons, bags of poly fill or fluff for pillows, bingo dabbers, Elmer’s glue, masking tape, felt and sewing supplies.

Feb. 25 though March 1 is Read Across America Wacky Week in honor of Dr. Seuss.
Feb. 25 will feature “The Sleep Book.” Students are invited to wear pajamas to school.
Feb. 26’s book will be “One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish.” Students are invited to wear red or blue that day.
Feb. 27 is “Who-ville” Day. Students may wear wacky hair styles or clothing.
Feb. 29 is “Hooray for Diffendoofer” Day. The attire for the day is spirit wear (black and gold).
March 1 is dress as your favorite book character day.
