Members of Faith Wesleyan Church, Route 309, Orefield, presented a live nativity and a One Night in Bethlehem re-enactment during the weekend of Dec. 14-16.

The nativity scene was set up outside the church while the city of old Bethlehem was replicated inside the church.

Mary, Joseph, Baby Jesus, shepherds and angels were all present for the live nativity, as was a pair of goats and a burro, similar to the donkey that carried the Mary to Bethlehem before the birth of Jesus.

Inside the church, parishioners wearing period costumes welcomed visitors to “purchase” their wares.

They also could make crafts as they visited the booths.
