The Northwestern Lehigh Alumni Association is hosting a basket bingo at the Lynnport Fire Company on Oct. 28.

Doors open at noon. Bingo begins at 1 p.m.

Food will be available to purchase.

Wear a costume to be entered into a free raffle.

High School

There will be an open house and dedication ceremony Nov. 8 for the community to visit the high school to view the upgrades made during the renovation.

Visitation will be 6-7:15 p.m. with the dedication and ribbon cutting taking place 7:30-8 p.m.

There will be community information booths and a student activity fair at the event. Everyone is invited to visit.

Elementary

Fall Fun Festival will take place on Oct. 26. Students will learn about bugs and bees, and take part in some square dancing.

Kindergarten classes will be going on a field trip Oct. 29 to Foothill Farms, Lehighton.

Students can tour the barn yard, pumpkin patch, take a hay ride, play in the rope and hay maze and more.

Rain date is Oct. 30.

Do you have a lot of left over Halloween candy? Partners In Education is collecting unopened bags of candy to distribute to troops overseas Oct. 28 through Nov. 3.

Weisenberg

Elementary

Oct. 26 is Black and Gold day as Spirit Week ends.

Students are asked to wear one or both of those colors that day.

Fall Festival at the school is Oct. 26.

Students will have an enjoyable time throughout the day.

The Race for Education will take place on Oct. 26.

Students can run or walk a designated path in the schoolyard as part of the PTO fundraiser.

Guest author Michael Patrick O’Neil will visit Weisenberg on Nov. 1.

He is an award-winning photographer and author who specializes in marine wildlife and environmental issues.

Students may purchase his books.
