Good Will Fire Company has 61st awards banquet
Good Will Fire Company No. 1, Trexlertown, and the Ladies Auxiliary, recently celebrated their 61st annual awards banquet.
The event took place at the Copeechan Fish and Game Club, Schnecksville, in order to give members a break from doing the work at their own station.
Following dinner, awards were given to members of both organizations whose commitment to the mission of the fire department were exemplary.
Michelle Conley-Ellerman received the Ladies Auxiliary Member of the Year Award from Auxiliary President Linda Gorr.
Former Fire Chief Arlan Wright received the Firefighter of the Year Award. Fire Police Capt. Calvin Fetherolf was thanked for his 15 years of service to the fire company.
Probationary Firefighter of the Year went to Frank Kimble for all his hard work at becoming certified as a fire and rescue member.
