Valley residents graduate basic

Air Force

U.S. Air Force Airman Leidy C. Moreno Lopez, Airman Kevin Feliz, Airman Dion J. Fleming, Airman Isael A. Tejada, Airman 1st Class Chad J. Krause and Air Force Reserve Airman Ezequiel Perez graduated from basic military training at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, San Antonio, Texas.

The airmen completed an intensive, eight-week program that included training in military discipline and studies, Air Force core values, physical fitness, and basic warfare principles and skills.

Airmen who complete basic training also earn four credits toward an associate in applied science degree through the Community College of the Air Force.

Feliz is the son of Maria E. Oyola and stepson of Domingo Melendez, brother of Barbara Jimenez and Kenny Feliz and brother-in-law of Gregory Jimenez, all of Allentown.

He is a 2012 graduate of William Allen High School.

Lopez is the daughter of Hercilia Garcia of Allentown.

She is a 2015 graduate of William Allen High School.

He is a 2012 graduate of William Allen High School.

Perez is the son of Luis F. Perez Sr. and Maria E. Perez of Bethlehem.

He is a 2009 graduate of William Allen High School.

Fleming is the stepson of Rachel Allen of Allentown and brother of Jermaine D. Lytle of High Point, N.C.

He is a 2012 graduate of William Allen High School.

Tejada earned distinction as an honor graduate. He is a 2017 graduate of Parkland High School.

Krause is a 2000 graduate of Allentown Central Catholic High School.

He earned a bachelor’s degree in 2017 from the University of DeSales, Center Valley.
