There will be early dismissal for elementary schools at 11:25 a.m. March 29.

Schools will be closed March 30 and April 2.

Registration for all-day kindergarten for the 2018-19 school year is quickly approaching.

Contact Weisenberg Elementary by visitingnwlehighsd.org and following the links on the home page to register.

Appointment slots are quickly filling up so contact the school as soon as possible.

PSSA testing is quickly approaching.

Students in grades three through five will be testing English/Language Arts, April 10 through 13; and math, April 16 and 20.

Grade four will test in science April 23 through 27.

Northwestern Elementary

The book fair will be open throughout the school days March 22-29.

Students can purchase books published by Scholastic Books.

The Literary Arts Festival will take place 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. on March 28.

Families are invited to stop by with the students and check out all the artwork they have completed during the school year.

Fourth grade students will be performing at 6 p.m.

Don’t forget the library book fair will also be open during the festival.

IronPigs Night is scheduled for April 29.

Tickets are limited so send in orders as soon as possible

Weisenberg Elementary

The book fair will be open during school days March 19-23.

The fair will also be open for parents to visit during the Festival of the Arts.

The PTO book drive will take place March 26 through April 13.

What a great way to recycle those books your child has outgrown and help others enjoy reading as well.

The Festival of the Arts will take place from 6-8 p.m. March 22. This year’s theme is pets.

First and second grade students will be performing at 6:30 p.m.

Don’t forget to walk down to the cafeteria to see the beautiful mural created by Karin Frost Olmstead and painted by students, staff and extended family of students under the guidance of Olmstead and art teacher Karly Sacco.
