A blossoming pink dogwood was planted in loving memory of Aubrey Somishka, a little girl who died five years ago at the age of 2 from cancer. Aubrey’s parents, Matthew and Michelle, with brother, Wyatt, planted the tree during the Parkland Garden Club Arbor Day Celebration and Tree Planting Ceremony at the Lehigh Valley Zoo. The tree was donated with love from “family” at Western Salisbury
A family friend of the Denglers, Judy Grim, helps plant a dogwood in loving memory of Frank Dengler planted by his wife, Clarabelle.
Janice Carroll, Gina Duffy, Debbie Barhight, Lynne Kistler with youngsters Elena Koonce and Grace Shaffer and the “Parkway Manor Friends” planted a yellow knockout rosebush in loving memory of their friend and “sunshine” Janet Unser, a fellow teacher at Parkway Manor, who died from cancer in April.
