Jane T. Ekstrom, 85, of Neffs, formerly of Harmony, N.J., died Aug. 10, 2012, in the home of her daughter, Carol A. Herman, of Camden, N.C.

She was the wife of the late Oke B. Ekstrom Sr.

Born October 24, 1926, in Gloversville, N.Y., she was the daughter of the late Willard Sr. and Florence (Van De Walker) Kobuskie.

A retired seamstress, she worked in the textile industry for many years.

She attended Rochester School for the Deaf and was a member of the Lehigh Association of the Deaf, Allentown, for many years.

She was of the Catholic faith.

In addition to her daughter Carol A. Herman, she is survived by a daughters, Marie T. Kemmerer and her husband, Dale, of Neffs; son, Christopher G. Hanson of Wilkes-Barre; brother, Willard Kobuskie Jr. of Glen Rock, N.J.; sister, Mary Schmidt of Chesterfield, Mich.; stepdaughters, Terry Lee Lenoir of Glen Falls, N.Y., Maia M. Wilson of Hackettstown, N.J.; stepsons, Eric A. Ekstrom of Cape Cod, Mass., Richard A. Ekstrom and Oke B. Jr., both of Phoenix, Ariz.; five grandchildren; one great-grandson; four stepgrandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

A visitation period will be 9-10:30 a.m. Aug. 16 in Heintzelman Funeral Home Inc., 4906 Route 309, Schnecksville, followed by a graveside service at Hollywood Memorial Park, Union, N.J.
